The morning of Grace and Matt's wedding day dawned wet. Very wet. And windy. Like raining sideways windy.
But if you think that put a hitch in the bride and groom's giddyup then you, my friend, are sorely mistaken.
Grace is the very definition of her name personified. Kind, beautiful and SO smart. She and her dashing groom are both engineers and it was at their very first job in Chicago that they met and fell in love.
Their Arrowhead Golf Club Wedding was, in short, a June vision: the skies cleared up JUST in time for the first look and their stunning outdoor ceremony was a go - YES!
The sun shone through the towering canopy of trees as Grace’s father walked her down the flagstone aisle and I swear I heard a few jaws hit the floor. Matt and Grace exchanged the sweetest vows in front of those they love most in the world , traded rings and sealed the deal with a kiss as hundreds of bubbles filled the air. It truly was electric.
As speeches were made and special dances were danced, the smiles on the bride and groom’s faces never faded for a second. Their love is luminous and this photographer feels VERY lucky to have been there to capture the beginning of their greatest adventure yet.
